Yes — free forever, no trial, no credit card, no expiry. You get up to 3 income streams, 2 goals, and 14 days of history. Premium unlocks unlimited everything plus advanced analytics and data export for $4.99/month.
Is SideStream available on iOS?
Android only right now, on Google Play. iOS is in the works. Send us your email and we'll let you know when it launches.
Does it connect to my bank?
No — and that's intentional. SideStream is manual. You log income when you receive it. No bank connections, no read access to your accounts, no sensitive financial credentials. Your data stays yours.
Features
How do income streams work?
Each stream is one income source. Give it a name, colour, and optional monthly target. Log entries whenever you get paid. SideStream tracks running totals, compares to your target, and shows trends over time — per stream.
How do goals work?
Goals are financial targets — emergency fund, holiday, equipment, whatever. Link income streams to a goal with a percentage (e.g. 20% of every Etsy entry goes toward your holiday fund), or add contributions manually per entry.
How does the weekly reminder work?
After setting up at least one stream and logging your first entry, you'll be offered an opt-in. You pick the day and time. One notification per week — no backend, no tracking. Tap it and you go straight to the income entry screen, pre-loaded and ready. Done in ten seconds.
Can I export my data?
Yes — on Premium. Export as PDF, CSV, or Excel. Useful come tax time.
Account & Data
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored via Supabase with Row Level Security — only your account can access your data. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't sell your data, ever. Read the full Privacy Policy.
How do I sign in?
Email and password, or Google Sign-In. Your data syncs across devices when signed in.
How do I delete my account?
Request deletion via our contact form. All your data will be removed within 30 days. No questions asked.

How do I upgrade?
In the app, tap any upgrade prompt when you hit free tier limits. It's a standard Google Play in-app purchase at $4.99/month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, through Google Play subscriptions. You keep Premium access until the end of the billing period, then revert to free. Your data stays intact.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Everything is preserved. If you had more than 3 streams or 2 goals, extras are archived — not deleted. Resubscribe anytime and you're back to full access immediately.
